About me

Liam Kay is a South East Queensland based emerging creative.

Liam started the production company ‘Studio88’ in 2024 and has since gone on to create audio and visuals that has captured stories and delivered moments.

They specialise in location sound recording and audio post-production and throughout their journey has discovered a passion for bringing life to narratives through sound. Putting their motto “Story drives every decision” at the heart of the projects they work on. With 4 years growing experience working and learning film and commercials they have an ever growing skill set that supports every projects creative vision.

After working on multiple sets that have required capturing clean and pristine audio on set, to dialogue editing, foley and mastering the final mix in post-production, they have an approach to their work that is deeply rooted in an understanding of storytelling and the importance of collaboration.
